The Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Haruna Mohammed, together with the Municipal Chief Executive, the Ahafo Regional Minister, traditional authorities, and residents of the municipality, welcomed Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie and Justices from the Supreme Court of Ghana and the Court of Appeal of Ghana to Goaso for the commissioning of a new High Court complex.
The event marked an important milestone in strengthening access to justice and improving the administration of justice for the people of Asunafo North and the wider Ahafo Region.
The new High Court complex is expected to enhance the delivery of justice by bringing court services closer to residents and helping to ensure more efficient handling of legal cases in the region.
During the visit, the Chief Justice, who is an indigene of Goaso, also took the opportunity to formally introduce himself to the traditional leaders and the people of Asunafo. The gesture further strengthened the relationship between the judiciary and the community it serves.

As part of the activities marking the occasion, a thanksgiving service was held at the Goaso Roman Catholic Church to express gratitude to God for the successful commissioning of the High Court complex and to pray for wisdom and guidance for members of the judiciary as they continue to serve the nation.
Hon. Haruna Ba Mohammed expressed appreciation to the judiciary for the development and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen justice, governance, and development within the Asunafo North Municipality.
