As your Member of Parliament, I have always believed that the true wealth of Asunafo North lies not in our natural resources, but in the brilliant minds and dreams of our young people. Education is the bridge between potential and opportunity — and it remains one of my top priorities as a legislator and servant of the people.

That is why, with the support of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), I have facilitated life-changing scholarships for over 20 brilliant but financially challenged students across Asunafo North. This initiative is part of my broader commitment to ensuring that every young person, regardless of their background, can access quality education and pursue their dreams without financial barriers.

Transforming Lives — One Student at a Time

Among the many beneficiaries is Offin Samuel, a hardworking student of the Rejoice Foundation, who is currently studying Medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Earlier this year, his admission and accommodation fees were fully covered through this intervention — a gesture that lifted a heavy financial burden and gave him the freedom to focus on his studies.

Samuel’s story reflects the very essence of this initiative — turning obstacles into opportunities and transforming financial struggles into academic success. His journey inspires countless others across Asunafo North to keep believing in their dreams.

To me, this effort goes beyond financial support. It is an investment in hope, in potential, and in the next generation of leaders who will drive development across our communities. I remain deeply committed to working with relevant stakeholders, educational institutions, and development partners to expand these opportunities and ensure that no child is left behind.
